China MHEC Manufacturer

China MHEC Manufacturer

MHEC (Methyl Hydroxyethyl Cellulose) is produced via etherification of refined cellulose with methyl and hydroxyethyl groups. Upon mixing with water, it dissolves to form a viscous colloidal solution, thereby improving water retention, smooth trowelability, and crack resistance of wall putty formulations.

Accurate is a professional MHEC manufacturer. We offer standard and customized grades for both interior and exterior wall putties.

MHEC Benefits for Wall Putty Manufacturer

Water Retention

Excellent water retention ensures prolonged binder hydration, preventing premature drying and allowing sufficient time for proper leveling.

Workability

Smooth and easy application reduces troweling resistance, enabling faster coverage and less labor effort on construction sites.

Anti-Sag

Superior sag resistance prevents putty from sliding or slumping on vertical walls, ensuring uniform thickness without multiple passes.

Crack Resistance

Reduced shrinkage and cracking minimizes post-application defects, improving overall wall finish quality and lowering rework rates.

Water Resistance

Good moisture-resistant performance enhances the durability of finished walls, preventing blistering and delamination in humid environments.

MHEC Supplier with Good Reputation

Landercoll® has been a trusted name in cellulose ether manufacturing for years, backed by three production bases equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Our manufacturing process features 16 horizontal reactors and 4 vertical reactors ensuring high-capacity, consistent output, alongside a DCS (Distributed Control System) for fully automated production and an SIS (Safety Instrumented System) for real-time process safety.

MHEC Manufacturing & Purification Process

Raw Material Selection: We begin with high-purity refined cotton linter, characterized by low ash and negligible impurities.

Etherification: The cellulose is alkalized under precisely controlled conditions, followed by etherification to introduce methoxyl and hydroxypropyl groups.

Purification: The crude product undergoes successive washing and filtration stages to remove by‑products and residual salts, achieving exceptional purity suitable for demanding applications.
